When to use it
- At the end of a sprint, project or milestone.
- Before a retrospective meeting, so discussion starts from everyone’s input.
- For distributed teams that cannot meet in one room.
How to customize it
- Edit the title, description and any question wording before you create the poll.
- Add, remove, duplicate or reorder questions, and change whether each one is required.
- Rename, add or remove sections.
- Choose settings such as the closing date, result visibility and password protection.
Nothing is saved until you select Create poll. The poll you create is your own copy; changing it never affects the template.
How responses and results work
- Participants see the results after they respond (the default — you can change it).
- You see every response on the poll’s manage page and can export them as a CSV file.
